Where do I submit my CBAM declarant application as a Hungary-based importer?+
All EU CBAM declarant applications are submitted through the central EU CBAM Registry at https://cbam.ec.europa.eu/authorised-declarant/, regardless of which member state your business is established in. EM reviews and approves applications from importers established in Hungary — the submission portal itself is shared across the EU.
How do I contact EM about CBAM?+

Does EM charge a fee for CBAM declarant authorisation?+
Regulation (EU) 2023/956 does not impose an EU-wide fee for declarant authorisation. National fees, where they exist, are published on each NCA's own site — most member states publish no fee for the authorisation step itself. Verify on EM's official site (linked above) before assuming.
In which language must I submit my CBAM application via EM?+
The central EU CBAM Registry accepts submissions in English. Some member states require supporting documents (verifier reports, EORI evidence, etc.) translated into Magyarország; EM publishes the language requirements for Hungary on its CBAM page. Verify before assembling your application package.
