GDPR & your data

If you’re in the EEA, UK, or any jurisdiction with equivalent data-protection rules, you have the rights below. Most of them are self-serve — no tickets, no forms, no delays.

Your rights

What data we hold

We keep only what’s needed to provide the Service — your email address, the invoice data you submit, saved shipper / consignee profiles, API-key hashes and metadata, and request logs for security. We never store raw API keys or payment card numbers.

If you submitted your email through any of our free tools — duty calculator, sanctions screen, or wizard draft-save — we retain a row in our leads table noting which tool you used, when, the consent state you ticked, and your IP / user-agent. That row is included in your data export and removed when you unsubscribe.

Marketing emails & unsubscribe

We send transactional emails (the result you asked for from a tool, invoice delivery, draft-save resume links) to anyone who provides an email address — these are not marketing and are required to deliver the service you requested.

Marketing emails (occasional product updates, “tools you might like”, monthly digest) are opt-in only — you have to tick the marketing checkbox at the point of capture. Every marketing email contains a one-click unsubscribe link that removes your address from every customs-invoice.com marketing list it appears on.

You can also unsubscribe directly by emailing privacy@customs-invoice.com from the address you want removed. We process unsubscribe requests within one business day.

What we don’t do

Still need help?

For requests this page can’t handle — including custom erasure scopes, access requests on behalf of a deceased person, or Data Processing Agreement (DPA) requests from enterprise customers — email privacy@customs-invoice.com. We respond within 30 days.
