Argentina honey anti-dumping duties confirmed for 2023–24

The U.S. Department of Commerce has completed its administrative review of anti-dumping duties on raw honey from Argentina for the period June 1, 2023 through May 31, 2024, finding that certain exporters made sales below normal value. This is a routine review under the anti-dumping statute; affected Argentine honey exporters will see duty determinations finalized in this administrative cycle.

Commerce Completes Argentina Honey Anti-Dumping Review

The U.S. Department of Commerce announced on June 12, 2026, the final results of its administrative review of anti-dumping duties on raw honey from Argentina. The review covered the period of review (POR) of June 1, 2023, through May 31, 2024.

Commerce determines that certain exporters of raw honey from Argentina subject to this administrative review made sales of subject merchandise at less than normal value during the period of review (POR) June 1, 2023, through May 31, 2024.

Administrative reviews of anti-dumping orders are conducted annually to reassess duty rates based on the prior year's export activity. In this case, Commerce found that exporters of raw honey—classified under HS Chapter 04—sold merchandise at prices below normal (home-market) value, triggering continued anti-dumping liability.

Argentine honey exporters and U.S. importers of Argentine honey should expect duty assessments to be applied to shipments entered during the review period. These findings are incorporated into the existing anti-dumping order, which has been in place to offset injurious pricing by Argentine suppliers.

What this means for shippers

Importers of Argentine raw honey (HS 0409) must ensure anti-dumping duties are calculated into landed cost and that entry documents reflect the final duty rates from this administrative review. Verify your supplier's exporter code and duty assignment with the anti-dumping order; failure to account for these duties can trigger liquidation adjustments and penalties. Check the full Federal Register notice for company-specific duty rates and deadlines for any post-review adjustments.
