CBP Hosting Virtual Tech Career Expo April 30

U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced it will host a Technology Virtual Career Expo on April 30, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET, according to a CBP national media release published April 23, 2026.

The event is designed to introduce participants to information technology careers supporting CBP operations across hundreds of U.S. and international locations. "Participants will hear directly from the Office of Information and Technology about insights into technology careers supporting operations at hundreds of locations across the United States and internationally," CBP stated.

Attendees will learn about technology positions that "help safeguard the nation's borders, protect the public from threats, and secure lawful trade and travel." The expo will feature opening remarks on the agency's IT mission and vision, followed by discussions from CBP staff about their roles and experiences in information technology.
