Poland mushroom producer faces new anti-dumping duties after 2024 review

The U.S. Department of Commerce has concluded its administrative review of anti-dumping duties on preserved mushrooms from Poland, covering November 2022 through April 2024. Okechamp S.A., the sole Polish producer under review, was found to have sold preserved mushrooms into the U.S. market below normal value, triggering anti-dumping duty implications. Importers purchasing Polish preserved mushrooms must verify current duty rates and ensure proper classification under HS Chapter 20.

Commerce Concludes Polish Mushroom Anti-Dumping Review

On May 22, 2026, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued final results from its administrative review of anti-dumping duties on certain preserved mushrooms imported from Poland. The review covered the period of November 3, 2022, through April 30, 2024.

"The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) determines that Okechamp S. A. (Okechamp), the sole producer or exporter subject to this administrative review, made sales of certain preserved mushrooms (mushrooms) from Poland in the United States at prices below normal value (NV) during the period of review."

Who Is Affected

Okechamp S.A., identified as the sole producer and exporter of the subject merchandise during the review period, faces findings of below-normal-value sales. Any U.S. importer who sourced preserved mushrooms (HS Chapter 20) from Okechamp during or after the review period is directly affected. Importers of preserved mushrooms from Poland should immediately verify whether their suppliers are Okechamp or other Polish producers that may be subject to existing or newly imposed anti-dumping duties.

What Changed

The final determination means that Commerce has confirmed dumping occurred and anti-dumping duties will apply to Okechamp's shipments. The administrative review process is part of the normal cycle for enforcing existing anti-dumping orders; Commerce reviews whether exporters continue to dump products in the U.S. market at below normal value during each review period. This finding will influence the anti-dumping duty rate assigned to Okechamp going forward.

What This Means for Shippers

Importers must immediately confirm whether their Polish mushroom suppliers are Okechamp or another entity, and obtain the final anti-dumping duty rate that now applies. File amended entries or post correct estimated duties on any preserved-mushroom shipments from Poland in your pipeline. Failure to properly declare and pay anti-dumping duties exposes you to customs penalties and entry seizure. Check current duty rates and supplier status before the next shipment arrives.
