US announces antidumping review window; annual inquiry service list opens

The US Department of Commerce has published a notice establishing the annual window for requesting administrative reviews of active antidumping and countervailing duty (AD/CVD) orders. Importers and interested parties can now request reviews of specific orders and join the annual inquiry service list. This notice applies to all currently active AD/CVD orders and provides instructions for submitting review requests in the required format.

The US Department of Commerce issued a notice on June 2, 2026, announcing the opening of the annual opportunity to request administrative reviews of antidumping and countervailing duty orders, as well as the chance to join the Commerce Department's annual inquiry service list.

Administrative reviews allow importers, foreign exporters, and other interested parties to request that Commerce examine whether dumping or subsidization continues during a specified review period. These reviews can result in changed duty rates, cash-deposit rates, or other modifications to an order's administration.

"This notice announces the annual window for parties to request administrative reviews of active antidumping and countervailing duty orders, findings, or suspended investigations."

Key provisions of this notice include:

Who can request reviews: Importers of record, foreign exporters or producers, and interested parties subject to active AD/CVD orders may submit review requests.

Service list enrollment: Parties can request to join Commerce's annual inquiry service list, which ensures they receive notice of all administrative review opportunities for orders in which they have an interest.

Format requirements: The notice specifies that review requests must follow Commerce's prescribed format. Improperly formatted submissions may be rejected and not accepted for review.

Timing: The annual review window opens with this publication. Specific deadlines for submission vary by order and are typically 30 days from publication of the opportunity notice in the Federal Register.

This is a procedural notice that applies across all active AD/CVD orders, spanning all HS chapters and country combinations currently under Commerce Department jurisdiction. Importers subject to antidumping or countervailing duties should review the notice to determine whether they have grounds to request a review or whether they wish to monitor future developments in their applicable orders.

What this means for shippers

If you import goods covered by an active US antidumping or countervailing duty order, act now to review whether to request an administrative review or join the annual inquiry service list. Failure to meet the submission window closes your opportunity for 12 months. Check the Federal Register notice for your specific order's deadline and format requirements, then file your review request or service-list enrollment with Commerce before the cutoff. /sanctions-screen
